I played We are OFK (On Steam). It is about a group of friends coming together to form the titular band “OFK”. The game is structured in five episodes.

I liked that the game was fully voiced, and the voice acting was pleasing. The soundtrack, while not my usual style, was good.

But I do have two criticisms.

First, the central conflict is caused by one character having to make a big decision that affects other members of the cast and not talking about it with them. I do not like such set-ups. It works, don’t get me wrong. But I believe, that the story could have worked just as well if this decision was talked about, but the cast was divided about the correct choice.

Second, the fifth and final episode felt rushed. The resolution felt unclear to me. I’m particularly unsure about where the resolution was happening (I hope players understand what I mean).

But I enjoyed the game despite these complaints.
